Aiden McFadden, 24, joined Atlanta United through the 2021 MLS SuperDraft after playing collegiately for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, where he was a 2020-21 Second Team All-ACC selection.

Atlanta United 2 signed McFadden on April 21, 2021. In his first season at the professional level, McFadden set a then ATL UTD 2 single-season record of eight goals and added three assists.  

The Pennsylvanian made his MLS debut against Colorado Rapids on March 5, 2022 after being called up on an MLS Short-Term Agreement. 
On June 17, 2022, Aiden McFadden was signed by the club to as a U-20 Call Up Replacement, filling the roster slot temporarily left vacant by Tyler Wolff’s call-up to the U.S. Under-20 Men’s Youth National Team for the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championships from June 18 to July 3. He would then sign through the remainder of the season on July 8, 2022.
