Atlanta United today announced that defender Sal Zizzo had successful surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee and will miss three-to-four months. He suffered the injury during training.
Atlanta United (14-4-5, 47 points) will return to action when it hosts Toronto FC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 4 (4:00 p.m., ESPN, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game).
