The roof at Mercedes-Benz Stadium is expected to be open for tonight's Atlanta United match. The 5-Stripes host Western Conference opponent FC Dallas in MLS regular season play. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET
This is the first time the roof has been open for an Atlanta United match so far during the 2025 season. The forecast today in Atlanta is beautiful. At kickoff, the temperature is expected to be around 80 degrees, and with sunset scheduled just 30 minutes later, the hot Georgia sun shouldn't be too much of a factor and most of the match will be played under the stars.
The roof opening adds to an exciting atmosphere expected at MBS. Saturday's match will be a celebration of Black excellence, and HBCUs will be a large presence throughout the match. The Morehouse Glee Club will perform ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing.' A drumline will perform pre-match on the Front Porch, at halftime and throughout the match.
Tonight will also be the first time Atlanta United wears their community kit, the Resurgens Kit, at home this season.
