Founded on the passion of the original 17s, we're honoring those who have been part of Atlanta United since the beginning.
On Saturday, May 9, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., the Founding Members Pre-Match Party will take place at the Home Depot Backyard East Lawn. This event will feature a Meet & Greet with former Atlanta United player and MLS Cup Champion Greg Garza, with additional special guest announcements soon to come. Throughout the event, founding members can expect live music, a photo booth, games and signed giveaways.
Light snacks and beverages will be available while supplies last. Each guest will receive two drink tickets, with additional drinks available for purchase. Last call for alcohol will be at 6:30 p.m.Â
In addition to the party, a pin pick-up table will be on-site for guests to collect the May 9 "Big Moments Are Born Here" pin.Â
Parking is not provided and attendees are encouraged to follow their usual matchday transportation plans. The party will be held outdoors at the Home Depot Backyard East Lawn, so guests are advised to dress for May weather.Â
The celebration carries straight into kickoff as Atlanta United faces L.A. Galaxy at 7:30 p.m., marking the final home tailgate before the FIFA World Cup break.
