Atlanta United’s season may be on pause, but the 5-Stripes are still on the move. Two familiar faces will take the pitch and represent their country on the world’s biggest stage. Miguel Almirón and Matías Galarza have been named to Paraguay’s roster ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Preparing for their first World Cup appearances, both players join the team ahead of the country’s return to the tournament for the first time since 2010. What's more, they'll put on their national team colors for matches in the same country they've played their club soccer this season.
