Atlanta United released the first episode of 'Rooted In The Stripes,' a new documentary series that covers the club's 2023 season. Beginning Thursday evening, part one is available to watch on YouTube.
The premiere turns the page from 2022 and captures the first few matches of the 2023 season. The series takes a different perspective and elevates a variety of voices from around the club to tell the story. Interviews include President & CEO Garth Lagerwey, play-by-play announcer Mike Conti, head coach Gonzalo Pineda and several Atlanta United players.
The multi-part series documents the club's seventh MLS season where the team equaled the best start in Atlanta United history through six matches. The documentary was produced by the club's digital team and each episode will air on the club's official YouTube channel.
